Textile Art and Fabric Art is a multi-phase process. The initial design begins with a rendering. Using an enlarged version of the original sketch as a blue print, the finished piece is created by unfolding the relationship of lights, darks and color, selecting a palette of texture and hues, then breaking down the image and translating it into a mélange of fabrics and construction techniques.
